Job Summary:
This is a full-time role for a Multi-Family Portfolio Property Manager based in the Greater Chicago Area. You will oversee properties, ensure lease compliance, manage maintenance requests, and build strong tenant and client relationships. Responsibilities include lease administration, timely follow up on all maintenance requests, maintaining property records, and ensuring properties meet high operational and financial standards. The role also involves regular communication with clients, tenants, contractors, and vendors. You will report directly to the Director of Multi-Family.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Illinois Real Estate Brokers License, or Illinois Residential Leasing Agent License.
- If you don’t possess either Illinois real estate license, you must obtain one of them within 120 days of your start date (company will pay for class and testing).
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Residential Leases and Property Management.
- Excellent Communication skills for building relationships with tenants, vendors, and clients.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple properties effectively.
- Prior experience in multi-family property management is a plus.
- Proficiency in property management Software (Appfolio or Yardi) preferred and Microsoft 365 skills.
Salary Range:
$65,000 – $80,000 per year; based on experience
