Manage day-to-day operations of multi-family properties throughout the Chicago Area. Handle tenant inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Coordinate and schedule property maintenance and repairs. Assist with lease administration, including preparing lease agreements and renewals. Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Maintain accurate records and files. Assist in marketing efforts. Utilize management software system (AppFolio). Report to Director of Multi-Family Property Management.
Previous experience in property management or related field. Detail oriented. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to negotiate contracts and handle tenant matters effectively. Knowledge of facilities management practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Required to have:
- Valid driver’s license
- Illinois Real Estate Brokers License, or
- Illinois Apartment Leasing Agent License
- If you don’t possess either real estate license, you must obtain one of them within 120 days of start date (company will pay for class and testing)
$60,000 – $80,000 per year
