Howard Ellen is a co-founder of Prodigy Real Estate Group. He is one of the most respected property management operators in the Midwest. Howard leads the management of a diverse portfolio of retail, multi-family, office, mixed-use and association assets. His 38-year real estate career also includes the acquisition, disposition and refinancing of several billion dollars of assets.

Howard’s clientele includes public companies, private equity funds, private syndications, family offices, lenders, individuals and associations.

Prior to Prodigy Real Estate Group, Howard led Jerome H. Meyer & Co., one of Chicago’s best-known property management firms. He also served as controller for Hawthorn Realty Group, a significant Chicago Area real estate developer. Howard spent time with the public accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath.

Howard is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where he earned a B.S. in Accountancy.

Howard has served on the executive board of Congregation Or Shalom in Vernon Hills. He sits on the board at The Cove School (Northbrook, Illinois) – a school that services the complex needs of children with learning disabilities. Howard resides in the Chicago Area with his wife and three children.
